Guddu and Rashmi fell in love right away, but they decide to explore a live-in relationship for 20 days before committing. Trouble, upheaval, and uncertainty arise, however, when their traditional families mistakenly believe they are married.
Aside from Kartik and Kriti, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Vinay Pathak, and Alka Amin play important roles in the film. Luka Chuppi earned largely positive reviews from reviewers and fans when it was released in theatres in 2019. The romantic comedy not only has a moral at the end, but it also includes a number of humorous situations throughout.
Let's take a peek at a couple of the film's humorous scenes as Luka Chuppi turns three.
1. Guddu Shukla's tearful farewell
When Guddu Shukla proposes marriage to his lover Rashmi Trivedi, she advises that they first try a live-in relationship. They plan to spend 20 days in Gwalior, where they are both on business. Guddu becomes teary as he leaves his home and family in Mathura, hugging and bidding farewell to all of his relatives. Guddu acts like a traditional newlywed woman who leaves her parents' house after marriage, much to the surprise and consternation of his family.
2. Kaunsi Biwi?
It's difficult to pretend to be someone you're not, especially when you're forced to do so. Guddu and Rashmi were in the same boat. Mrs Shrivastava, a nosy and interested neighbour, continues to visit them after they move in together, interrogating them about specifics of their marriage, such as the wedding date and album. When a neighbour inquires about Guddu's wife, he responds, "Kaunsi Biwi?" Mrs Shrivastava is taken aback when she hears this and asks how many wives he has.
3. Sweet blackmailing by Guddu's nephew
Guddu and Rashmi's deception is discovered, and it is by the latter's young nephew. The child informs the couple that he is aware of their marital status. Guddu must pay the child with an 8000-rupee cycle as a last resort in order to persuade him not to divulge the truth. When the adults in the house inquire about the child's cycle, he says it was a gift from his uncle. But, he is asked, didn't he just want a Rs 500 video game? Guddu's nephew quickly responds, "I'll get that as well."
4. Guddu's family is brought home by Babulal
Guddu's cousin Babulal sees him with Rashmi in public and follows them home. When he sees their fake wedding photos together, he is taken aback and believes Guddu and Rashmi eloped and married. He invites Guddu's entire family to his house the next day and informs them of the situation. Guddu and Rashmi, on the other hand, are unable to reveal their secret and must go along with the supposition.
5. Mobile ka Data Khatam Ho Gaya
Guddu and Rashmi begin to live and act like a married couple, despite the fact that they are not married. The couple tries several times to get married in secret, but each time they fail. Guddu and Rashmi made one such attempt when they decided to make things official with the help of Guddu's coworker and buddy Abbas. Guddu and Rashmi, dressed in their pyjamas and with their pyjama strings tied, begin taking rounds of the fire. Abbas plays a mantra on his phone, but his mobile data runs out at that point, and the ritual is abandoned.
