RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, has been in theatres for less than a week. Since then, the Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn co-starrer has grossed over $60 million (Rs 456 crores) in its first weekend globally.
These are outstanding numbers, but with the exception of filmmaker Karan Johar, no one from the Bollywood entertainment industry has commented on them or congratulated the team on their achievement.
RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, is one of the most well-known Indian films of recent times. As previously stated, the Ram Charan, Jr. NTR starrer has performed far better than expected at the box office, both domestically and internationally (in the United States). The Telugu film did well not just in Telugu, but also in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
According to telugu360.com, the film is expected to earn close to Rs 65 crores in three days in North India. However, with the exception of filmmaker Karan Johar, no Bollywood celebrities have congratulated the film. Karan Johar is the filmmaker responsible for its success.
Even Alia Bhatt, who plays an extended cameo, and Ajay Devgn, who plays a pivotal role in the script, have yet to tweet, post, or speak about the SS Rajamouli film that is dominating the box office. According to the aforementioned portal, people in the Tollywood film industry are surprised that no big names from Bollywood responded or promoted RRR.
