In this new Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor can't take their gaze away from each other

The romance between Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor is said to have started on the sets of Brahmastra, and a new still from the film shows off their chemistry. In the Ayan Mukerji-directed film, Ranbir and Alia play one other's love interests. Alia will play Isha, while Ranbir will play Shiva. The film's creators published a photo on Sunday in which the lovers couldn't take their gaze away from each other.

The snapshot was released just days after Alia revealed that in her thoughts, she already feels "wedded" to Ranbir. The actor was responding to a remark made by Ranbir in 2020. Ranbir had remarked in an interview with film critic Rajeev Masand that if it hadn't been for the pandemic, he would have married Alia by now. He'd also mentioned that marriage is something he'd prefer to check off his list sooner rather than later.

In a recent interview with NDTV, Alia was asked about Ranbir's statements. “In fact, I am married to Ranbir in my head for a long time. Everything happens for a reason.” While Alia and Ranbir have remained tight-lipped about their wedding plans, rumours say that they will tie the knot in April of this year. 

Brahmastra will be released later this year, while Gangubai Kathiawadi will be released on February 25.
